  • Yes. Metal roofs help prevent direct ignition, but that’s only one part of the equation. During wildfires, most homes don’t ignite from flames landing on the roof — they’re lost to embers and radiant heat that get into vents, eaves, windows, decks, and siding, which causes homes to burn from the inside out.

Our system protects the entire structure, not just the roofline, by creating a high-humidity zone that cools surfaces and stops embers from taking hold. We’ve spoken with insurance loss adjusters who confirm that many homes actually burn from the inside out once windows shatter from heat and embers enter. So while a metal roof may resist sparks, it doesn’t prevent the real ignition pathways. That’s why we design our systems to protect the whole building envelope — every surface, every opening, every vulnerability.

  • Upon receiving your evacuation notice we recommend monitoring your local wildfire app so you can track the live movements of the fire. That’s the point when conditions are most dangerous and water use needs to be focused where it matters most — protecting your property while everyone evacuates safely.

We also offer fully autonomous systems equipped with thermal imaging and AI monitoring. These can detect heat signatures up to 15 kilometers away and automatically activate protection before flames or embers even reach your property.

  • Because wildfire protection works best in layers. Even with a metal roof or cleared vegetation, embers and radiant heat can still ignite your property.

The Prodigy system provides the final active defence when passive measures aren’t enough.

  • On installation we carry out a runtime test, and off the back of that we give you your programmable cycle times.

This approach conserves water while still keeping humidity levels high enough to block embers and radiant heat. We’ll also show you the ideal humidity range to maintain so your system stays both effective and efficient.

  • All our systems are engineered to be the most water efficient possible.

We use different methods to ensure the water goes exactly where it is needed.

  • We specialize in both retrofit & new build installations.
